GTSFA No tolerance to Violence and Harassment Policy
As we are faced with the growing concerns of keeping our children safe from harm’s way, as an
organization, GTSFA is strongly committed to not only teaching our children the value of team
play and unity but most importantly keeping our children safe. The children are our #1 priority.
Due to the increase in violence in sports around the country, GTSFA has established and put into
force a “No Tolerance to Violence and harassment policy. Acts such as physical or verbal abuse,
taunting, fighting, harassment via phone or social media, any conduct detrimental to the
organization or as an extension of the organization, drinking and/or the use of illegal drugs near
the practice or playing field absolutely will not be tolerated at HOME or AWAY. Show respect
for your child’s coaching staff, referees, peers (other children), parents and opposing teams and
their families. If a problem occurs speak with them after practice or a game. No one is permitted
on any paying field, sideline or locker room, with the exception of the GTSFA personnel. Parents
and guardians are fully responsible for their actions, safety, and welfare of their participating and
non-participating children, as well as their own actions. Any action deemed unfit by the
Executive Board will not be tolerated. Please be advised that any violation of this policy will
result in you and your child being removed from any and all activities involved with GTSFA,
without refunds. By signing this agreement, you understand and recognize the GTSFA “No
Tolerance to Violence and Harassment” policy.
